Acharya's NRV School of Architecture

Acharya's NRV School of Architecture (ANRVSA) was founded in 2009 as an independent Architecture College. Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture has grown in reputation to be one of the premier institutions imparting Architectural education in Bangalore. With high-end classroom education combined with practical field exposure, studio, smart classes, etc., the students are equipped with all the necessary knowledge, skills and a never ending thirst for innovative ideas. The campus, with its aesthetically pleasing buildings set in sylvan surroundings, acts as an inspiration for students who wish to pursue Architecture as a career. The Library & Information Centre of ANRVSA provides an ideal environment for intellectual inquiry and Reading, Learning and Instructional Resources. The ICT facilities established to provide much-needed services to support excellence in Teaching, Learning, Research, and Extension. The User-focused facilities and services provide seamless access to resources and to evaluate Scholarly information to learn and create new Knowledge. The Library & Information Centre caters to over 400 Students pursuing Undergraduate Course and about 35 Faculty and Staff members. The Library & Information Centre is housed on 1st floors with a carpet area of 175.7 sqms accommodating various facilities, reading and learning resources, and seating arrangements for about 70 Users at any point-of-time. Wi-Fi, Internet access, Electrical plug-in facilities, etc., are provided in Library. Digital Learning Resources and Online access to major E-Journals and E-Books available from VTU Consortia and DELNET. KOHA, an Integrated Library Management Software package is used for Library operations and resource sharing among the Acharya Institutes’ Libraries. ALIBNET, a network of all Libraries of Acharya Institutes has been established using KOHA "Single Instance and Multiple Libraries". Institutional Repository (IR), a digital repository of ANRVSA Library provides access/downloading publications, and other homogeneous data/reports and non-traditional reading material. Centrally well-protected Fire alarms, CCTV surveillance provide much-needed security. Qualified, experienced Library professionals serve the user community with excellence and provide assistance in meeting user needs.
